4/10 Fair

Believe the ratings and comments
We stayed in the Heritage building (main building) the hotel and room were very tired. Our room had a queen and a twin …why they didn’t have king bed option was weird. The room had nothing AC, or thermostat for that matter. The windows need to be open to cool down the hot room, but we were right over the noisy pool area. There were cobwebs on the lamp/fan combo. The carpets need to be changed out - old and stained. The bathroom grout and tile were so tired and gross looking. No amenities besides shampoo, conditioner, body wash. No soap, cotton balls, or w-tips - which blew my mind for a ‘resort and spa’. It wasn’t a cheap room either. Will not go back to this resort again. Harrison Lake was beautiful and plenty of other options for places to stay - new hotel going in next door too

September get away
The staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is a good one. I was in the original building, so yes, it is dated, but still comfortable and clean. Access to hot pools wonderful. Next time I will visit the Spa.

6/10 Good

Not worth the price
The location of the hotel is fantastic. Its right on the lake. That's about the only good thing about it. It's old, completely run down and looks dingy. Even the outdoor pool looked dirty, they desperately need to be drained and given a good scrub. There is no bar at pool either so you can't even get a glass of water. For $300-$400 per night with a 2 night minimum ( peak seasons) this hotel isn't worth it. It's not luxurious and lacks tranquility. Its just an old dirty run down hotel thats a shadow of its glory days

Good place to relax.
Great location. Easy access to hot spring pools. Nice to have robes supplied. Easy walk to restaurants. The main hotel room we had was in need of a refresh. Grout in the bathroom needs redo. No air conditioner but windows open and there are fans. Bedding was clean and comfortable.
