The Hacienda & Spa at Hotel Santa Fe, Santa Fe
Best in Santa Fe — We'll be back!
Hotel Santa Fe is one of our favorite places now! From the first moments we arrived, we knew we were going to be pampered. Our steward Mark guided us to the perfect parking place for our room, wrangled our luggage in, explained how everything works, and made sure we were comfortable. Our room was beautiful. Common areas and dining room are lovely and reflect New Mexico decor. Morning steward Eric was just as efficient to help us daily. While we can't comment on the highly ranked spa amenities, regular guest amenities we thoroughly appreciated include: in-room daily NY Times, in-room coffee and minibar, continental breakfast with yoghurt, fresh fruit and berries, selection of cereals, and excellent coffee with real cream. Daily 5-7pm 'Happy Hour' with red and white wines and choice of beers or soft drinks, cheese and crackers and hot selection, either vegetable tamales or pakoras etc. Wonderful salads and foods in the restaurant. Thanks to Maritzka for her excellent care of our room and for the turndown service when we were first there; her replacement gave ice but no chocolate or turn-down! We want to give a positive shout-out to Tai who normally works the front desk, who 'fixed' my iPhone. Hand-held shower is a joy! Suggestion: ask the steward to adjust the thermostat; or ask the desk for a flashlight since otherwise you can't read the numbers.

Good Value
The Hacienda was really good to stay at. Our room unfortunately was located under the 6th floor kitchen so we got woken up at about 530 when they started prepping the next morning (522). The service was great as the "resort fee" covered shuttle rides within 1 mile of the Santa Fe plaza in downtown. This was really helpful when we went to dinner and we would have used it more had we stayed longer as parking is a bit of an issue in the downtown area. The breakfast was pretty good the next morning as well and the staff was very helpful.

Solid choice for business or pleasure.
I loved their service. Complimentary breakfast and wine reception were very nice. It is not in the heart of The Plaza if that is important to you (it is just a short walk). Their shuttle will take you everywhere you want to go in town. Solid choice. Were told it was the last Native American-owned hotel in town, so It was good to patronize local business of very good quality.

Nice stay
Pretty nice room, comfortable bed, decent location, but continental breakfast not very good for $10. The $19 resort fee also buys you almost nothing except I did like the NY Times in the morning.

Great location
The stay at the Hacienda was very nice. The location was a good location, we were able to walk everywhere, and the railroad market wa right out the door of the hotel.
