The location is outstanding near then Kings Canyon. They free upgraded me from the budget room to a nice room with bathroom in it. So that was really nice of them and I highly appreciated that kind of gesture. Overall experience is great!

We were upgraded to a deluxe room with an indoor tub so the room was bigger than a standard room. which was very nice. We appreciate it. This place is the only place to stay if you are doing the Kings Canyon Rim walk or other hikes. Carmichael is the only food option or breakfast and dinner so it gets old. We only stayed 2 nights so it wasn’t bad.

The stuff on the reception was very nice and gave us an upgrade for the room. Everything around was amazing and the food in the restaurant was great.

The room stank of sewer gas. The trainee on duty at the desk suggested turning on the taps, but neglected to suggest pouring water down the central dry floor drain. I spent a long time trying to turn on the air conditioner using the controllprovided, until my wife found the notice around the corner that informed us that the control is ineffective: there is a separate switch on the wall. These are unnecessary frustrations in an otherwise acceptable stay, though expensive.

After discovering my assigned room was double booked I was upgraded to a suite. The reception desk workers were very polite and helpful. The food was very good...VERY fresh greens and fruit for the salads.

    Nice in the outback.

Beautiful scenery around the area. The room was basic but nice. Restaurant had great buffet breakfast and nice dinner. Not to many other choices for food because of the distant location. Staff very helpful.

Perfetc stay. We stayed two nights as two couples sharing a Spa room with two very comfotable queen sized beds. The breakfast buffet was great, pool was chilly but nice. We particlularly enjoyed happy hour at the Thirsty Dingo bar. Great very of Kings Canyon at Sunset :)

It is the only option for a place to stay at Kings Canyon so you don't really have much choice. With that being said, it isn't bad. The price is high for what you are getting, although not as high as at Yulara(Uluru). The room is pretty decent and the staff is friendly. When we visited in November, it must have been off-season because 1 of the restaurants was closed and the other one had very limited hours. One of the pools was also closed although we weren't wanting to use it.
