Under construction
The hotel is currently under renovation. To get to the 3rd floor room which is now modern and beautifully fitted I had to walk through the 2nd floor construction site. It will be excellent when finally all finished but it was a challenge figuring it all out

Not Happy!
Hotel was under construction, which was a pain! Parking is not an easy task...their garage is not right at the hotel. Front desk girl was not very helpful, nor did she have the information we needed. She wouldn’t even say she’d find out and get back to us. She definitely was not well-trained about the property or in customer service. Our bathtub backed up, so we couldn’t shower the next morning. When I told the front desk, they didn’t seem to care much. We were checking out so we couldn’t move rooms, but a discount would have been nice! I also emailed the manager and have had NO response! I am definitely not happy with my stay!

Great location, nice hotel
We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The room was clean, modern and had everything we could need. Staff was nice and very helpful. Parking is always a problem in SF, but the hotel offers parking for $50 , which seems to be average price in SF. The location is good, we were able to walk to War Memorial Opera house in just a few minutes. When waIking, I would stay on Van Ness as a trip down a side street or Polk st can be a hair raising experience. During the day we did walk up Polk st and found some good restaurants and shops. I will stay here again.

Extremely slow check in, kept blaming it on the system. Much construction noise, detours and obstacles due to remodel.
