Amazing affordable suite on the beach
This is our second year staying here for our early anniversary get away. What a hidden gem! Is it perfect like a newer hotel? No. But the rooms are immaculate. The fact that I can get a suite on the beach for a reasonable price is amazing. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. It’s close to everything. We bring e-bikes and ride everywhere but most of it is walkable. Plan on staying there again next year!

The main condition problem was that the front door would not easily close. Also the front curtain would not close at the door side reducing privacy and darkness at night. Ok otherwise. No bugs.

Bad service
The A/C couldn’t keep the room cold. It was always hot, even at night. The service was horrible. I went down to the front desk to get my son a pillow and sheets for the pull out bed and the lady was incredibly rude and said that she couldn’t give me any cause I didn’t have I pull out bed. I argued with her for a minute before she finally went and got me a pillow and sheets for my son.

Great location, facility needs work
PRO; Very close to the beach! All employees seemed happy to help you. AC worked very well! (was 90+degrees while there). Handy luggage carts really helped in checking in and checking out of hotel. Very close to many bars, restaurants and activities. CONS; Facility is really worn out! (Brand new hotel being built right next door) Rooms were painted by an absolute amateur. Only one night stand light, a ceiling light and an under cabinet light that had no light bulb in it. Two TVs, only one controller. King Size bed was sunken in the center so bad it was difficult to get out of the bed! It was like sleeping in a hammock, not comfortable at all, and this room was a "King Size Deluxe" room which cost extra! Sleeper couch was in very poor condition, it is good that we didn't need to use it! Finally, I realize we are at a beach, but there was sand on the entire floor! Made it difficult to sleep in a bed with the sand. Couldn't get away from it! Maybe it is because Beachview is building a brand new facility that they don't want to put money into the old facility. Finally, the location is great, we had a really enjoyable vacation but we will not be returning to the Beachview Inn any time soon. It is just too expensive for a worn out facility.
