Old Hotel, nice location.
Old hotel, no elevator, many mosquitos when we went into the room, no view. Nice staff, nice area, many restaurants and clubs around. Parking is $15 a day in the reserved spots or $10 a day in general parking but those expire at 6AM. Continental breakfast. Could hear other rooms pretty clearly. Church has bells starting at 8 AM. They should replace the room flooring as it smells.

Antique charm, but Hotel needs an upgrade
I reserved this hotel as a quaint antique Inn, with high ratings. We had a suite instead of two Queen beds. The fold out couch was old and worn., there was no desk for working and only a single, but fine, arm chair. The windows were filthy, and the breakfast was meager. On the positive side, the desk clerk was pleasant and chatty, the location was great, the antique hotel charm did come through. I would stay there again only if I knew that there were upgrades to the areas mentioned, above. Otherwise, it will be a sterile modern hotel - hilton

Would stay again
We stayed because we were going to a concert at Jannus. The old feel of the place was really neat, a nice change of pace. Only 2 very minor complaints would be 1 the shower. It had good water pressure, it was just tight quarters, since we got a room with the clawfoot tub. It was kinda high up not much to grab onto to climb out, felt a little unsteady. And the 2nd thing was the phone would make this very light ring-ring sound but no one was calling... we started to make a joke of it because it seemed to answer us when we were in a conversation. Thought maybe it was a spirit of the hotel communicating lol.

2nd time staying here. Stayed just 1 night this time in town for a concert. Room was fine. AC worked. Bathroom was clean. Had a big closet for hanging items & suitcases. No Fridge in this room.. But since only stayed 1 night it was fine. The shades on the windows are inoperable. and would not open or close. We were on the 3rd fl. Which can be a hike with luggage etc. But we like the old feel of the building.

Great location and friendly staff
The staff is awesome. This is a historic building so realize that the rooms and showers are small!
