Nice hotel, service could use a bit
Overall, this is a gorgeous hotel. It’s very upscale (though reasonably priced) and in a great location; you can walk to city center but you’re not in the noise. The river is lovely, as is the spa. We had a few issues. The room was quiet except for the VERY loud neighbors who were obnoxious until at least 3am. Our room cleaning service on our second day was done without leaving toilet paper! I have cancer and must be able to go to the potty as needed. My husband called down to ask for toilet paper. 45 minutes later when it still hadn’t arrived, he understandably became very angry. They did deliver within a few minutes of the angrier request, but it shouldn’t take an angry 6ft+ 230lb American male (you know what I’m saying) to get that dealt with. The room cleaning during our stay was not particularly thorough, but nevertheless, I’m sure our experience was unique. I certainly hope so anyways. Again, lovely hotel, okay service.

Really wanted to stay longer!
we were very impressed with our stay at the Kingsley. arrived with normal hotel expectations and left being very happy. beautiful spaces and great service along the River Lee with a nice view and a trail along side the river. lovely young lady checked us in with a smile and placed us in an ADA accessible room for a little more space. stylish, spotless, and airy, we had a shower much bigger than typical UK lodgings. view out onto and across the river (ask about the abandoned asylum on the other side). had an outstanding meal(but a bit of a service issue)in the Springboard restaurant. spa, pool, and health club onsite looked fantastic but alas no time for us to enjoy. and many spaces to accommodate doing business. would liked to have stayed longer but look forward to returning. highly recommended.

Lovely stay in Cork
Overall we had a wonderful stay at the Kinsley. Milena (I think that was her name) was amazing in helping us fix a problem we had created for ourselves. Also, a maintenance gentleman help with immediate fixes to issues in the room. The view from the restaurants and our personal room overlooked the local river and waterfalls which was beautiful. Our only issue was our room was right next to the elevator and we heard it nonstop through the night.. Other than that, I would definitely recommend a stay at this fine hotel.

This was the worst place we stayed in Ireland. The food was great.but we sat for 20 minutes nobody acknowledged us. I had to go hunt down someone to wait on us. The rooms were beautiful but the hardest bed I had ever slept on. I would not come back
