Pleasant and beautiful stay in Bamberg.
The hotel was grand and wonderfully located to the scenic, old town sights. Parking was conveniently located in the underground garage. Breakfast was sumptuous and generous. A well appreciated respite on our 19 day travels around Germany.

Hotel Residenzschloss Bamberg - a great hotel
Great location on a quiet street, easy walking to Dom (cathedral) and Alte Stadt (old city). Excellent breakfast buffet. Can get on a Stadtrundfahrt (city bus tour) next door at the Archiv (archives) building and go all around town. Very efficient, friendly, and welcoming staff.

Noisy Street
Easy walk to into town and nice breakfast. Stayed in Room 107; too much street noise from the passing vehicles. Then the thumping around during the morning hours from the adjoining room or above - forget about sleeping in.

Enjoyable accomidations in historic building. Budget room was close to road so there was some vehicular noise with the window open. Nice staff and breakfast.
