Don’t really want to be on the first floor as it is loud to the street. The rooms are broom swept carpet. Which most Americans are unaccustomed

Great hotel, terrible bed
Positives: Very close to the train station (Rome Termini), nice private bathroom, A/C in the room, clean and strong WiFi. Negatives: the bed was so incredibly uncomfortable So much so that I would never stay here again, even considering all the positives. It was hard and you could feel every spring in the mattress. Terrible.

Not a 3-star hotel
This hotel is in a great location if you're arriving in Rome by the Termini train station. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel for any other reason. The rooms are clean but, they're also dark and dated. The water in the shower would not stay at one temperature, the breakfast was just so-so and there are no English stations on the television. On the bright side, the staff was helpful and able to answer most of my questions.

Hard Bed, nice staff
The location is very near the train station. That makes it convenient for getting luggage from train to hotel, but a farther walk to get to the 'main attractions'. It's a trade off one way or the other. The air conditioner in our first room didn't work well. It took us 2 nights to realize this. At first I just thought it was having a hard time because it was SO hot outside. However, the lobby was quite chilled, so I figured something must be wrong. The staff was very pleasant. We were offered another room, which had A/C that was working quite well. What we were not told ahead of time was it was a smaller bed. We went from a king to a queen. The beds in both rooms were quite hard. (not firm, hard) Of course the room with the better A/C had the harder of the two beds. I think the hard bed thing might be an Italian (or European) thing. I stayed in 3 places that had firm to very hard beds. The only place that had what I would consider a regularly firm bed was an American chain. That's why I'm not sure if very hard is just the standard in Italy. Although the staff was very pleasant and helped when we asked, if I were to go to Rome again I would try a different hotel.

Very Good8.0
The pros: 1) Great location: could not be closer to Termini which is where u have to stay for connectivity on buses and trains. 2) Value for money: At 80 euros a night with free breakfast for 3 ppl definitely worth it. 3) Helpful front desk: really helpful most of the ppl speak English. Give u a map and everything. 4) Clean and well maintained: Not fantastic but good enough. 5) Lots of food and shopping options nearby. Cons: Room size could have been a bit bigger.
