OYO Hotel San Antonio Northwest Medical Center, San Antonio

I know its a bit late for the review. But we had been traveling since last 2 months so did not get the chance. My wife booked the hotel from hotels.com for 05/25/2019 and it was OYO. When we reached there, the guy in the front desk did not give the room we booked, saying there has been some error. And, the room we were given was so filthy; the evening we reached there, we took off from the hotel in about 15 minutes for the city tour and returned late night so we adjusted. And, we found a bed bug in the room the next morning. We were in a hurry for the function at that time, so did not make issue at that time. But, I have attached picture and the video. The carpet and wall was sort of damp. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Half way threw my stay I'm tired and exhausted I get to my room lay down to take a nap and right when I fall asleep I get a loud knock on my front door at 6pm stating they are going to be in my room to be doing maintenance they ripped out my ac and my privacy was invaded i booked thos hotel hoping to have a joyful and undisturbed stay but I was fully disturbed and was trying to talk to the office on why I was not given a courtesy call or a heads up that they where gonna have this happen or why I was not told about this at check in because apparently the mainence was scheduled hours before my initial check in the manager was unhelpful to assist me in this issue

I didn't like the fact that it looks nothing like the photo and was very deceiving, there was no pool as we thought had been advertised, the check in area was very hot and unclean, as well as the restroom available in the lobby area. There was a drug bust in progress when we arrived to check in and the officers advised us to go elsewhere. Said it was a bad neighborhood for 2 ladies to stay there and was a high Meth area. The Manager on duty was fairly polite but uncooperative. I would highly recommend that this Hotel be taken off of your list as a place to stay.

It was a rude awakening. The room was unfit for anyone. The entry door had a huge gap at the bottom where bugs and light came in and no security latch or deadbolt, the furniture was all damaged and peeling the carpet was nasty and full of cigarette burns, the bathroom door would not lock, stains of blood on wall and very dirty walls, curtain hanging off the rod in Some areas, no ice machines anywhere. And the price was 77.00 a night. Totally cheated on this one.

I had so many delays at the airport that I thought that I might lose my reservations of my room and the staff call me before they give it to somebody else my reservations Thinking that I was going to cancel it do you cause I have not responded to them and I was very grateful they waited until the last minute for me and this took place very late at night. Thank you
