Awesome falls view
This hotels is good for only falls view, if you don't take falls view room then it's waste of money.. the restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesdays.

If you only care about the VIEW from the room.
The front desk people were friendly, the parking valets were very friendly and extremely accommodating. The VIEW from the room was TREMENDOUS. The size of the room was about the size of an inside cruise ship cabin and the bed was much too SMALL and HARD as a rock. The toilet seat would not stay up, because a shelf had been added, and protruded to far to let the lid remain open. You could tell this was not originally an hotel. Our room was not attended to, as when they came the first time we were still in it and they did not come back (they did ask us if we needed anymore towels or toiletries, however). We were within walking distance, if you don't mind hills, (we walk often at home) of several restaurants and the falls.

Great location, comfortable stay.
Pros: Really convenient location to the Falls, and short walk to the other touristy areas. Cons: Potential fire hazard behind the mini fridge in the cabinet: When I first tried to turn on the TV, both remotes didn't seem to get a response. I then realize the cable box and TV both didn't have power. I traced the power cables to the outlet behind the mini fridge and I found a rats nest of power cords attached to the one wall outlet(see picture). That one wall outlet had a 6 - outlet tap plugged into it. Then plugged into that: One cord had a converter brick that had a 2-outlet splitter plugged into that. All-in-all four plugs going to that one wall outlet, one of which was the mini fridge, some pretty heavy duty loads demanded of that one wall outlet. The weight of all that made for a poor electrical connection so that's why the TV and cable box had no power. Misc: As others have noted, room is pretty small. If you don't have too much large luggage it's not that bad. No coffee maker in the room, but at least the 2 hotels next door on each side has a Starbucks. Crepe place downstairs is really slow, even if you just want a coffee to-go. Hotel is well kept for being so old, funky elevator system for the top 2(?) floors, but that adds to the charm :) Everytime we were outside and from a distance looking back at it, this hotel looked like the old school "KFC bucket" signs :)
