Good stay
The hotel was pretty, the lobby looks bigger in the pictures. The staff at the front desk are nice. The staff in the lobby store are incredible. The food at the restaurant called The Kitchen was good but overpriced, the staff at the kitchen are incredible. The beds are comfortable. Nice bathroom. The housekeeping staff are spectacular.

Not what we expected…
Digital key didn’t work, apparently because they overbooked the room we already reserved (strip view) and paid extra for. So we waited in line almost an hour to check in. The man at the counter was nice enough, but claimed it was typical for hotels on the strip to overbook special rooms and sell out before everyone gets what they booked - as if we weren’t in our 50’s? Having been going to Las Vegas regularly, multiple times a year, for the last 30+ years? Um… never heard that before, nor experienced it first hand. But OK! This time we decided to bring our daughter before she goes away to a foreign country for several years of college. We wanted this short trip to be memorable, the strip view obviously something memorable. Oh well. But at least they refunded one night’s resort fee. Not sure that was an even trade considering we did pay extra up front and lost the experience. An experience we perhaps could have had at one of several hotels on the strip. The pics on the site make the room look much bigger than it is. It’s actually surprisingly small without enough outlets flanking the beds. Almost no TV channels. Nice sized bathroom with no obvious fan? Shower head loose and just hanging upside down. But the cherry on top was when my wife opened the bottom dresser drawer to put her clothes in and much to her surprise: someone had left a pair of shorts and dirty underpants behind…maybe check the drawers when changing guests? Just a thought. $50 resort fee? $25 Valet fee? OK.

Meh
I’ve stayed in several hotels in Las Vegas and other than being new and shiny there was nothing that set this hotel apart from the others. Kind of blah
