15 days in Brazil
I was just starting before flying back to the USA after 15 days ministering in Brazil. It located right across the street from the beach. Great with beachview room. Breakfast was limited compared to my previous hotels experience in Capacabana. The area is amazing and safe. Staffs are nices and will assist you when needed.

Great stay at Olinda Hotel
We loved the hotel location across from Copacabana beach and it is near the Siqueira Campos train station approx 5 blocks and buses can be taken close to hotel in Atlantica. There are restaurants down the street and many stores, banks and a supermarket just a few blocks away. We had a great connection to wi fi and a good selection for breakfast with long hours during the weekend till 11 I believe and breakfast till 10am during the week. We had a room with three beds it was tough to find a hotel with separate beds. Beds were a comfortable size and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Did not have a problem and the front desk and workers were helpful when asking questions or recommendations. They were very helpful. I would return to this hotel. They are currently reconstructing inside the hotel but its not noisy. Some painting, etc. Brazil was beautiful I would recommend the hotel and Rio de Janeiro.

Dated hotel
Rooms are very dated and the outside was had a very dingy view. Did not feel like a beachfront hotel property. Female manager was unaccomodating to allow guest visit room even though room was paid for allowed 2 adult occupants. Very disrespectful customer service.

Great Value and location
Great Value, Great Location, Wifi in the room was good, Concierge was friendly and knowledgeable(Mostly) Breakfast was average, good fruit. I dont really care, but the bathroom floor is concrete, cracked tile in the shower stall, the spackle job looked like amature work. What did bother us was a couple of days we went to the hotel in the afternoon for a nap, and there was a constant banging noise like dozens of people hammering metal. We weren't sure if it was our apartment or a neighboring one. So that kind of sucked, hopefully its not like that all year. Overall, the location is the best part. Again, great value for the price. Would recommend, but don't expect the best.

great location...but just OK
Hotel rooms had been recently updated but bathrooms remained untouched and were old and felt unclean. Service was good and breakfast was also good. This is a great hotel fro location at Copacabana beach, but without a beach view and small rooms, you don't get much else to cheer about here. I also spent a lot during the Olympics (which was expected), but I'm still not sure I would give it a great recommendation even if prices were more reasonable.
