Rome vacation
Hotel Doria is at a good location, close to the metro stop Vitorio (less than 4 min walk). There are a couple of supermarkets right around the hotel. You can hop on the metro and get to all the attractions in Rome. ( Barberini station for Trevi Fountain/pantheon area, Spagna station for Spanish steps area). This hotel is only a 15 min walk from the Coloseum area. Breakfast is good and the staff are friendly.

Excellent Location for Exploring Rome
The hotel was conveniently located by the Plaza de Santa Maria San Maggiore and a short walk from the train station. The second floor reception was a struggle with our bags but the front desk was quite helpful. Staff was helpful with directions and a map. The elevator was tiny - it took two trips to get the bags up to our floor. I opted for the stairs. The room was small but comfortable. The bath was tiny and the shower had me wondering how I could ever wash my feet. I cannot fathom how a larger person would fit. But it is Rome after all. The continental breakfast was nice with a variety of foods in the European tradition. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace with incredible views of the City. We took the bus to the Trevi fountain and a taxi back to the hotel after exploring the area. We walked to the Coliseum though I wouldn't recommend it for the less hearty, particularly in the heat.

Hotel in Rome
Hotel location was within walking distance of train station. Front desk was very helpful. Elevator was tiny and only one person can ride at one time. It was hard to find from the street because hotel sign wasn't visible. Water in the shower keeps turning from hot to cold so you have to keep adjusting the valve. Hotel served free breakfast on the 5th floor which was nice.

Cute, conservative, rooftop breakfast
Very nice and cute conservative hotel with a rooftop breakfast terrace. Get ready to be awaken at 9am daily by maids cleaning other rooms and talking loud in the corridor.

Tablecloth for towels
The rooms was very small and it said no smoking but the whole place smell like smoke and you have to leave the key when you go out.the guy in the front desk isn't nice at all. When I got there i told him I had reservation and he said he don't care just give me you passport.i wanted to leave but i had to catch a train early in the morning and the place was close and if you want to take a shower thy don't have towels thy give you tablecloth that was very weird. I though I was saving money by staying here but i wish i would have spend extra 20$ for a better place
