Beautiful place and great location
Beautiful place and in walking distance to Keauhou Bay and in driving distance to many other great attractions and beaches. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful; I didn't appreciate the one woman who drove by me in a golf cart and stared at me as I was lugging my heavy bags to my unit. There were a few spots in the unit that could have been cleaner and some of the plumbing needed attention. The kitchen had all the basics, but my stay would have been a little better if they'd included a cheese grater and measuring cups and spoons. Also, I didn't care for the sales pitch disguised as as "welcome." Overall I do recommend Holua Resort

Holua resort 10/10 would recommend
Holua was AMAZING. The facility was as shown in the websites with the exception of the paint; it was toned down from the neon green shown in the photos. The furniture was in good repair. The beds were very firm. If you like firm mattresses this is a plus, if you don’ may disagree with you. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could ask for. I went the first 4 days thinking there wasn’t a spatula, it turns out it was in a drawer (along with other serving utensils) I hadn’t checked. We had asked for and were given a really nice unit right next to the pool. Some of the units are further away from pools and some are closer. We were in building 21 which is actually positioned between two pools which was nice as we had our pick. It faces a new subdivision which at some point will take up a large portion of the view to the southwest and currently the early morning construction was noisy. (I don’t fault Holua for that-construction is, what it is). We stayed with our 4 kids, 3 are teenagers and our daughter who is 21. The unit was VERY spacious and had plenty of room for all of us. They offer trash and recycling onsite which was nice. We had lots of Luggage and a few days we had elderly family visit us and the bellmen were only a phone call away with a golf cart. I mention this because it did not dawn on me that the parking garage is in the middle of the resort which means a long trek back to the unit. This also means no vehicle traffic which is nice

Amazing Staying
The room is spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly and sleep very quiet at night. The kitchen is well equipped and it is easy to cook. From a few good snorkeling location very close, highly recommended to the family with kids, definitely coming back someday.
