TERRIBLE
My wife and I stayed at this Quality Inn because it was close to the Grand Ole Opry. We arrived on 8/12/16 at 3:30 PM, check in time was suppose to be 3:00 PM. The hotel staff made excuses about our room not being ready one after another. It was 6:30 before we were able to get into our room. The night staff said we would get a discount on our room due to all the problems, but the next day at check out they said that the night shift did not let them know about the issues we had had. The room was dirty and had mold on the lamp shades and under the vanity in the bathroom. This Hotel if that is what you call it caused our trip to the Opry to be a nightmare!

Dirty, would not stay there again.
Room was not vacuumed. There was spiders behind toilet. Hallways were hot with dehumidifies instead of AC and it smelled like mold spores. Skirt of beds were filty. Bath tub and sinks were clean. Would not go there again but staff was friendly.

Nightmare Hotel
This was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. The room wasn't ready when we first arrived. We had room service only half of the time even show up. When they did show up, they missed things like leaving towels or emptying the trash. Apparently, room service is not to be expected. I had to call down constantly to the front desk and ask for things room service "forgot". When I called down to the front desk, they told me "Oh, we've got towels down here you can come get." Really?! Then why didn't room service leave me some in the first place?! Their hot breakfast consists of watered-down biscuits and gravy with microwaved sausage and eggs every single day. No variation. The pool was poorly cleaned as well. The wifi does not work half the time as did the cable. The only saving grace was a front desk worker named Tara who is new and helped me out quite a bit because nobody else seems to know how to do anything. I wouldn't pay more than $20 a night for this piece of trash hotel.

Cross it off the list
The hotel was not up to standard. It smelled stale, the staff was sloppy, the appearance of the hotel was less than inadequate. The carpets in the room was so dirty my white socks were black on the bottoms and I had to throw them out. The free breakfast was microwave eggs & sausage that smelled the entire hall and our room like rotten eggs.

Nice Stay friendly people :)
The hotel has changed from a Comfort Inn to a Quality Inn and they seem to be trying to make improvements. Bedding seemed to be new and clean. There are NO bedbugs. The air worked well in our room. The carpeting could use a good steam cleaning but otherwise the room was nice. The breakfast was good, sometimes ran out and had to wait for refills but understood with a sold out hotel and there were a lot of people. The front desk staff (talexi) was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again when returning to Nashville.
