Kona Coast Resort, Kailua-Kona

Location and all facilities are good. Room condition are not good. Specially in my room, very bad smell come at the door front of 2nd bathroom.

Kona Coast Resort is a delightful, well-managed property with spacious and beautiful condos and grounds. We were enchanted by mornings and early evenings on our balcony with the lovely cacophony of birdsongs. Inside, our condo was roomy and comfortable. We had a one bedroom, two bath unit which was bigger all around than many condos where we have stayed. The air conditioning worked very well, although we didn't need it all the time in November. This resort is 10-15 minutes away from White Sand Beach ("Magic Sands"). It is also 5 minutes from a shopping center (which you do not see at all on this sprawling property) where there is everything one might need or want, and 15-20 minutes from the harbor and activities at Kona. One can access Kilauea/Volcano National park, The Place of Refuge, and the Kohala Coast as well in reasonable and memorable day trips!

Nice place with good Wifi. Great location with a grocery store very close by. It had a well equipped kitchen and grills nearby so cooking and cleaning was a breeze. Check in was at 4pm. A little later than I’m used to and probably inconvenient for early west coast flights. I drove from the volcano and arrived shortly after 3pm and had to wait about 30 minutes.

Great location, friendly staff, good service, clean rooms, Nice pool area with bar and grill. Spent one whole day at the pool area, with not a lot of kids. Nice relaxing time...
