Below Average
The carpet felt dirty. The hallway walls were a mess from some plumbing issue. The free breakfast was the worst tasting food I have ever had at a hotel that served breakfast.

Unhealthy hotel
This is now a corporate issue - the short version: Upon arriving in Mt. Juliet, which we chose for its suburban Nashville location and great neighborhood, we discovered our mistake. Traveling home from St. Louis on a family trip, my wife and 5 year old son entered the room after reading the sign to "ignore plumbing issues." Sure. After an hour in the room, we noticed the stench. Soaked walls, filthy water, bloated/leaky sewage pipes, etc, it hit our lungs quickly. Both of us suffer from migraines and were rapidly feeling them form (the horrid humidity in the room from the plumbing aided this) so I went to the front desk to ask for another room. The teenage boy behind the counter shrugged and pointed to the sign. I told him we were getting headaches - he said ALL the rooms were like that and went back to his phone. By midnight, both of us had raging migraines and even with medication, it did not ease the pain. When we checked out, we spoke to others who experienced similar nights. I asked the woman behind the counter for a manager. She was polite in telling me there was none on duty Sunday morning. We were supposed to sightsee in several spots along the way home but wound up booking another night without any relief. This was beyond an inconvenience. It was a health issue that I have reported far above the corporation. David Simms

Pretty bad
I wish I could say good things about this hotel. When I pulled up to the front, it seemed nice from the outside. But between slow, uninterested check-in service from the teenager at the front desk, no hot water the morning after I checked in, the weird smells in the hallways and the room (like really old, dirty carpet and dampness/mildew) and waking up every morning with new bug bites (yes, mostly likely bed bug bites - all over but mostly ON MY FACE!), unfortunately this hotel is one I would never stay in again nor would I recommend that anyone else does. I personally could care less about staying in a fancy hotel, so this review isn't about a hotel not being up to my high standards. However, for $140 bucks a night I do expect cleanliness, hot water and a critter-free bed.

Rooms are small and smell like smoke
This hotel was quite the experience. We walked in to a small check in area with minimal conversation between myself and the person at the desk. Once we got to the room it was so tiny for the 4 of us we requested a bigger room which that gave to us no problem, but smelled like smoke so bad we instantly left and went to another hotel. the service was accommodating and nice, but the hotel itself was not nice and would not return.
