July 2020 stay
Blue Water Resort has many great things; however, I do think the rooms could be updated; no wall to wall carpet as it gets damp or humid by the ocean. Also, some modern beachy decor, and better patio sliding doors would be nice! The grab & go food choices were great, yet some of the grilled sandwiches (esp the chicken) were v dry. Service was fantastic, and with kids having an outdoor pool overlooking the beach was perfect.

Beautiful views
The resort had beautiful views since it is right on the water. The room was a big size. The only thing we weren’t crazy about was how thin the walls were. You could hear people conversations word for word when they were in the hallway.

Pet Room Stay
Staying with two dogs so was in a street room on the ground floor. Was not excited about the room but it was very clean and met our needs. Could have been improved with a microwave.

Autism child told to leave
I went to this hotel for a family vacation. At first we were very happy to just be in the cape. We kept adding nights and ended up staying a week. We were very clean and picked up daily however when I got frustrated with the traffic jam of biker guys over crowding the entire parking lot along with a shuttle bus with around 25 elderly people on it parked in the middle of the parking lot I was told to park across the street in a parking lot that was blocked off by cones , during all of this im carrying my screaming child and have my other 2 little ones at my side . so I told the front desk this place has turned into a biker bar. 5 minuets later a manager was at my door telling me my room has been too messy all week. Extremely unprofessional I left with my kids in the middle of the night crying trying to find a new hotel. I dont recomend anyone deals with the petty bs this one manager pulled

Activities are focused on the Kids Only.
Great hotel and accommodations. However the hotel activities caters only to kids and not adults.

Not the best way to end our summer
I just got back from my stay this past Sunday. The only good thing about this resort is the location. It is right on the beach. I was very disappointed in the condition of my room. It was filthy. There were stains on the carpet and stains on the shower curtain. There were flies coming out of the sink faucet every time I used the sink. When I turned down my comforter to go to bed, there was a hair on the sheets. Cobb webs everywhere. There was dust on the refrigerator. In addition to the uncleanliness of the room, we had such a hard time with the safe. Every time we used the safe we had to input the code multiple times before it would lock. It took us so long one night that our Uber left us for waiting so long! Our AC also didn’t function properly. In order to turn it off we had to put the arrow on low cool (and that only sometimes worked). We also had no idea of the events that were happening on site (no communication). This resort could be a great place if they made some updates and learned how to clean properly! Definitely will not be staying here again.

Great location but some renovation needed
Great location but the rooms and property could use some upgrading. The bathrooms need some serious remodeling. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were always cleaned to our liking. The resort has lots of amenities including both an indoor and outdoor pool as well as private beach access. Included is beach chairs and umbrellas which made traveling a little lighter for us. The restaurant was perfect since we arrived around 8pm and did not feel like traveling to find dinner.

A hotel overdue for a refresh.
Nice location and friendly service. The hotel however has seen better days. The rooms appear to have been half renovated in the recent past. So in my one room there were 4 different wall coverings. Why install new wallpaper to half the room and leave dingy 1980's wallpaper up on the other half? In either case, new or old, all the wall paper was coming off the walls in the corners. bedding and towels felt clean but most were stained. Pool is coming apart at the water line and was filled with mold and mildew.
