Great area but old.
Our room was horrible at night. The air conditioner, ice cube maker and fridge were so loud it woke us up several times and wasn’t able to sleep.

At the end of our trip we discovered that a major festival had taken place the weekend we were there. It would've been great if the hotel had given us that information upon arrival so that we didn't miss all the fun offerings taking place right around us. Otherwise the hotel is great, convenient to all we wanted to do.

No assistance from front desk
3 fire alarms simultaneously went off about 3am in my suite. Front desk suggested I climb on chair and disconnect. It took 2 hours to get someone to my room (security guard) to manually unwire alarms and remove from room. I was there for an important conference that was scheduled for 7am that morning and got 0 sleep. Requested refund and only got a portion of it back.

Billing issue w/ poor customer service
My husband, 4 mo old, and I stayed for an extended weekend. My husband has epilepsy and requires a lot of sleep. So I was excited that a 1 bedroom suite was an option, so my son could stay in a separate space. Upon arrival to the room, we realized the bedroom door would not stay closed. I was disappointed, as I feel like that the door was the whole reason we paid for a more expensive room. However, we put a suitcase in front of it to keep it closed at night. We ordered food from the adjoining restaurant, and I will just warn you not to as it was pretty terrible. The rest of the stay went pretty smoothly. However, when my bill was emailed to me, I realized there was a mistake and a $6 bottle of water had been charged to my account. Our room was never even stocked with a bottle of water. I remember thinking it was odd that there wasn't one and we went to the breakfast area for cups of water a couple times. I called the hotel to try to resolve the issue. The receptionist just kept explaining that this was the water from the room. When I explained we did not have one, it was clear she did not believe me. She took down my number and told me she would "look into the issue and get back to me." I'm not sure how you would look into it if you don't believe me. But low and behold, I never received a call back and my bill still hit with the extra $6. It might seem minor, but I would just expect better customer service from a Marriott hotel.

Terrible
This was a really bad hotel for a corporate chain. We had a two bedroom suite with a living room. The furniture was so uncomfortable and cheap in the living room we were using pillows off our beds to try and make it comfortable. We ordered room service and it was literally delivered in a plastic bag, we didn’t know they ordered takeout from a nearby take away and used that as room service with the associated room service costs. No condiments for the burgers at all. Asked for them, said they would be brought up and never were. I could go on but I won’t, Just like I won’t ever stay here again.
