New Orleans always inviting!
The Royal St. Charles Hotel, was great! Very close to the acción. Safe walking distance. Next to Canal St, right on the Trolley route. Plenty of restaurants and things to do all in the same area. The people at the reception were very friendly, accommodating, Happy and ready to help. Love, Love Love them. Thank you Hotels.com for a marvelous vacation. Yayyyy

Great little hotel
Really great little hotel—perfect for a stay during the French Quarter Fest. People who work there could not have been nicer. Room was very small but bed was clean and comfy, shower was great as well. Perfect location too!

Great hotel and location!!!
My wife and I traveled to New Orleans for the first time last week. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Royal St. Charles. When we arrived via uber a staff member immediately opened our car door and welcomed us. The front desk staff were welcoming and super nice. We arrived a few hours before normal check in time and was hoping to at least just leave our bags until it was time, but they said they would be able to check us in anyway and even gave us a corner room upgrade. It was so awesome. They offered to bring our bags up, but we didn't have many so we respectfully declined. The room was a decent size, had a good size closet with a safe, desk area and small bathroom. The views were of St. Charles Avenue and the windows were from floor to ceiling. The location was in a pretty safe area. French Quarter was just a few blocks away so it was away from the nightlife, but not too far away. The streetcar was located right in front and was inexpensive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we visited NOLA again.
