Over all hotel property is real nice.The room given to us was in a corner on the 5th floor made us feel separated.the washroom was really dated.This was our second time stay with Novotel first time was in Paris and the hotel is the worst places to stay in.Gave this property a second chance NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL.I think we’re officially done with NOVOTEL

Nice hotel
My daughter and I stayed at Novotel Cusco during a recent trip to Peru. The beautiful lobby atrium is one of the nicest things about this hotel. We had breakfast there (not complimentary) and it was a nice setting. The hotel is in a great location, a few blocks from the city center and the cathedral. It is clean and the employees are all very friendly. The room was a bit of a disappointment. It was a decent size but the lighting was not good and there was no ceiling fan or AC. On a warm September night we had to choose between a warm room or leaving the window open and dealing with noise from the street and alleyway below. For a high end hotel I would have expected a bit more from the room. With other options in town that were better, not sure I would stay here again.

There were bed bugs in our room. Ended up waking up with bites on ankles and arms. In addition, the room we received had a black stain on the couch and white stains in the bathroom (toothpaste from a previous stay). For a four star property I would not say this is acceptable. The worst thing about this place is the central heat. It’s poorly ventilated and it was hard to sleep through the night as the air was really really dry. Also we requested a room with a view, and were told we would have one but were instead staring at a wall/other rooms.
