Convenient location and decent rooms
The outside of the hotel is really stunning. The pool area and pool bar are great to hang out. The indoor bar is very cool if in need of refurbishment. There is no other real lobby area which is a real shame. Food for dinner was not too pricey and was decent. However, Breakfast is not great. The super dark dining room doesn’t help the atmosphere either. Rooms are comfortable enough, but in serious need of a deep clean and some refurb. They don’t get much light but there’s plenty of space for a couple and there are lots of movie channels. Overall I enjoyed my stay but I will probably stay someplace else my next trip.

Nice historic hotel
Amazing beautiful old hotel. The morning breakfast was good. The location was very convenient, about 20mins walk to Themel. Most of the staff were polite and helpful.

Great property, great value
Gorgeous property. The old palace style is restored and renovated well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wish we had more time, but our airline buggered that.

Rustic, but a bit worn down
This hotel perhaps used to be a luxury hotel back in the day, but it has shown signs of wear and tear. My friend and I had two twin beds and it was a bit small. I must admit I loved the hallways and artwork and the architecture definitely felt like an old colonial hotel. The buffet breakfast was quite good. The hotel grounds seems to be a popular spot for weddings, since 2 out of 4 nights at this hotel had large, loud weddings (they did get quiet late at night). There was what seemed to be a nice, clean pool (not heated).
