reasonable, but just reasonable...
Overall the hotel is nice. We got just accommodations. the place itself was nice, clean and quiet. the bathroom was weird in that it required multiple flushes to engage the toilet. only other objection was that it was a little out of town (almost truck stop style) but bus access was pretty easy so not the biggest of deals. The price was right though the listed price in the hotel was quite expensive - good thing we booked in advance. Overall a reasonable stay

This place had everything. The gym and pool was nice to have. It’s also really close to Bicester Village for some outlet shopping. Good tip is if you have the IGH rewards card, you can get a free upgrade! Only drawback was a weird noise probably from the heating system.

Mixed: clean and comfortable, but awful location
The hotel is clean and comfortable. I had some problem with the thermostat in my room, but the hotel service people were responsive. Oxford is unbelievably expensive and this is probably one of the most reasonably priced hotels for its level of quality. The main drawbacks were two-fold: (1) the location terrible. There's nothing of interest near the hotel: just a Starbucks, a gas station, and a highway inter-change. It's not convenient to anything you'd really want to see in Oxford. And the problem is, there's no cheap way to get where you want to be. Public transport is inconvenient. There is no Uber. Taxis are expensive. And it's too far to walk to central Oxford. (2) The food at the on-site hotel is fairly good, but the service is really slow and indifferent. Worse, a couple of the servers were downright rude. Unless you were trapped in the middle of nowhere, you would never eat there. As it is, it's the only decent eating choice in close range.

Overall hotel was good except for a few annoyances:The room has no dressers/drawers for storage, no clock, no closet door. Bathroom has no conditioner or body lotion. Shower is weak. Hair dryer is locked in the only drawer in front of TV and mirror and cord is hard to pull. Breakfast has good selection.
