A good hotel, near airport
We stayed in this hotel because it is close to the airport. We didn't have time to use the facilities (such as the gym and indoor swimming pool) as we had to get up at 4am to catch an early flight. The hotel itself is more like a conference/resort hotel. It is the nicest hotel that we had during our trip in Israel without spending a fortune. Given the short stay and the airport location, this hotel is still not cheap, but this is not the hotel's fault. Hotels in major cities in Israel really cost a lot as taxes are >55%! The restaurant staff (a young guy) is very friendly and helpful.

We were given a old room with crumbling walls and warped floors and when I complained they moved us after two days to a similar room in better shape but the cleaning was awful , they never washed the bathroom floor or the cups we used for coffee, they never wiped the furniture which had sticky surfaces and old fingerprints, they simply didn't care about basic hygiene.

"Would not stay here again" Hotel
Stayed here because it had indoor lap pool. It was outside on grounds of hotel, with a roof, and equivalent to 6 city blocks away from hotel entrance. Food was too salty and overcooked, with no nearby restaurants. Friendly desk service was inconsistent. Families may like because children running without control everywhere, especially in hallways. Had to call front desk twice in evenings to get quiet enough to sleep.

Not a good airport hotel
We only went here as it was suppose to be near the airport and hotel.com listed an Airport Shuttle as one of the hotel services. Very sadly the hotel told us to take a taxi at a cost of 70 shekels ($20 with tip) to get there from the train station. It is not near the airport and it cost us 140 shekels ($35) to go to the airport. We were promised a 4 a.m. shuttle and then there was no shuttle. The desk had to call their vender twice to get the not included shuttle to show up. If we had to do it over, we would not stay at this hotel. We had friends who did find another hotel that did have a free hotel shuttle. We would have been better off (over $200 for the room and transportation) just going the night before, even very late, on a flight to Istanbul or another destination.
