Ramantic getaway planned.
The staff was great and friendly that met every request and answered every question. As for the property, beautiful location however the property has declined tremendously since last I've stayed at this resort. Outdated with many things outdated and that need replacing. They charge prices like it's a 5***** resort when in reality giving it a 3*** is kind. The staff i give them a 4+ **** rating.

Tired, but clean
So this place is tired, ripped carpeting in room, older mattresses and out of date bathroom. BUT, it’s not gross, just ready for renovation. The surrounding area is really pretty and kids loved playing in the fresh snow. Restaurant onsite was ok—nothing to write home about, but fine. Head Lake Grill in town is a good option if you want to venture out.

Very Good8.0
We enjoyed our stay in the 1 bedroom villa. Lots of space. We ordered in pizza one night and then decided to eat at the lounge in the hotel which wasn't very good at all...that was the only downfall of this resort.

Nice but opportunities for improvement
The facility was an older one that could use a facelift. It was clean and spacious but dark and dreary. We were located in a building that had a dirt parking lot, no elevator (nor were we aware there was not going to be one) and we are in our 60s and had to carry everything upstairs to the 2nd floor. The hall was probably very pretty at one time, but light bulbs in the wall sconces were either missing or burned out and furniture in the entry way was torn. The toilet had flushing issues. On the positive side the bathroom and room were very clean and the resort was nice, but is in need of a facelift.
