Nice stay overall but front desk needs improvement
The hotel is really nice and we enjoyed the area. It's an easy walk to a lot of bars and restaurants. My only complaint was the check-in/out process. We had to wait in line for about 15 minutes when we arrived and then the person who checked us in did so under the wrong name. Luckily I noticed that the check out date was wrong and he changed us to the correct room. However when we went to check out I had to fill out all of the paperwork again since what I filled out at check-in was for the wrong room. Check-out ended up taking 15+ minutes, which was super frustrating because our parking meter expired during that time and we were worried about getting a ticket. Other than the front desk not seeming like they had their act together it was a very nice stay. The room was nice and we enjoyed the hotel bar (the service there was great).

Heidelberg Visit
It was a wonderful little apartment. Very well appointed with all the necessities. The convenience of being close to the town centre, castle, grocery store and restaurants trumped the traffic noice, which we quickly adjusted to in any case.
