Bustling, Clean & Affordable in the City of Lights
Overall, a decent value for your Paris stay. Check in / Check out process was seamless. There was always a cordial and informative front desk person on duty, which was nice when I had questions or wanted to confirm the best way of getting somewhere. I chose a "Cosy" room which was VERY small for a week-long stay, but fine for a solo traveller just needing a night's stay. 6th floor room had a great view of the train station, but was quite noisy. If you're a light sleeper, ask for a non-street side room. Room was very clean, with a minibar and a tv with several English channels and unsecured wifi. Continental breakfast was adequate - plenty of bread, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, cereal, juice, cheese. There's not a full kitchen on site, so no made-to-order eggs or crepes, but you can get those in neighboring restaurants. The cost for breakfast was about $15 US, but worth it if you want easy access to morning food and a newspaper. For those who must indulge in their commercial coffee routine, there's a Starbucks in the Gare de l'Est across the street. The area around the hotel is VERY busy. There's a string of Indian restaurants about 10 minutes' walk away, and chain fast food within a matter of yards. There's a small grocery store next door, a pharmacy across the street, and plenty of cafes to have lunch or dinner. The Metro is obscenely close (around the corner or in the train station, depending on which line you need) and there's no reason not to take it.

Very good stay at good price
Surprisingly great hotel. Nicely redone. I found rooms are sufficiently large for Euro standards. Room was redone very nicely, comfortable, quiet. Bed was firm enough and had a number of pillow options. Bathroom perfect size with a tub. TV is on a box at end of bed, which might be unusual placement for some. Very well located next to main train stations and good metro options. I really liked it here. Would definitely stay again.

A clean, welcoming place to spend your night!
The staff and cleanliness of the room FAR exceeded my expectations! Everyone was so considerate and helpful. My only qualm with the hotel was the area - Gare du Nord isn't a very nice area to begin with, and the hotel is tucked away in what appears to be a rough patch of the 10th district. That said, public transportation was very close by and easy to use - so we had no problem traveling around.

Convenient to the train station
We stayed here in December. The location is close to the metro & the train station. The hotel was convenient & a small market was just down the street. The rooms are typical sized for European hotels. We were at times able to hear the metro train, though not bothersome to keep us from sleeping. The rooms were clean. The room states it comes with coffee though you must request & you also need to request clean mugs/glasses daily. Our 1 complaint is that we were charged 4,95€ per room (we had 2 rooms) when checking out. The hotel front desk staff member could not tell us what this charge was for, could not issue a receipt for the charges & took this payment in cash. We had paid our occupancy taxes on arrival for the entire stay & did not use the mini bar. This was a bit unsettling.

Room was small, but had everything I needed. Comfortable bed. Couldn’t quite figure how to get the A/C to come on, but luckily it was winter and I just opened the window.
