My Best London HQ ever!
My room was comfortable if small, and very cozy. Perfect for 1. Room 107 is rather noisy, though, facing the elevator exit for the first floor and sitting on top of the hotel main entrance. Those sensitive to noise are advised to avoid it like the plague. I managed quite well with the sound conditioner app on my iPhone. Maria, the front desk manager who is Greek is absolutely amazing and very gracious and a wonderful phone cam photographer. She made my entire stay a joy. The 7 pound breakfast is not bad if you can't be bothered to take a short walk to a full breakfast. Be warned. Most high street breakfasts are not served until 9. One notable exception is the Bakery Cafe where the London House Hotel gets its breads. Ask them. It is fab and features a "cereal" or whole wheat croissant that is to die for. The entire area of Kensington Garens Square is lovely and both Paddington Station and the Bayswater underground stop are within convenient walking distance. I love the area and WILL return again. Efharisto, Maria!

Great Stay
For a great price and I was very happy with my stay. The hotel's location is its best feature; a few hundred yards from a major street with dozens of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, and grocery stores, to fit all budgets. Then, it is a 5 minute walk to a underground station on the Circle Line that takes you to all the major locations, a 10 minute walk to another line with other advantages, and about 15 minutes from Paddington Station. We got the cheapest room available, which was small (as is typical for London) and in the basement. The "window" of the room opened into another hallway with guest traffic. It was March, but we were able to turn on the air conditioner to keep the room cool enough for us. The room was very clean, and well kept. I was not surprised or disappointed by anything, and would stay here again. On vacation, I just sleep in the room, and if its clean and quiet, I'm satisfied. The breakfast was 7 pounds, and it is a continental type. For the same price or less, you can get a full breakfast at one of the dozens of eateries around the hotel, not to mention the grocery stores with fresh pastries, fruits, and snacks. Also expected was the surcharge for paying with a credit card, which is not unusual for English hotels, but in 2017 it's starting to feel weird when the calculator is whipped out and the 1.87% is added. We were just looking for a place to crash after a long day out and about, and this was a great place to come back to.

Great location, OK hotel.
The hotel was in a great area, with a helpful staff, and looked like the property was well taken care of. However, our room was small and poorly insulated. Even maxing out our heating, resulted in a relatively cold night. Can't comment on the price, as this was my first stay in London and I've heard London is just an expensive place. But I would certainly make sure you don't stay in one of the rooms on a landing/stairwell. Breakfast wasn't worth it.

Very nice hotel but extremely small rooms.
The hotel while updated and modernized still has the charm of a cosy english hotel. My main problem was the room size. It was like sleeping in a walk in closet with a bathroom. The bed was smaller than any twin bed I've ever slept in. The room was only big enough for the bed and a small desk. But as small as the bedroom was the bathroom is extremely tiny. The shower is made for a small framed very skinny person to turn around in. Was hard to get my hands up to wash my hair. The room did have good heat and A/C and plenty of hot water. The staff is very friendly. But don't take their smallest room if you can help it.
