Exceptional 10.0
We had a room with a shared bathroom. I was hesitant about that but the bathrooms are beautiful and they keep them spotlessly clean. Highly recommend this place!!

The building had some nice renovations and was very clean, though there wires coming out of one of the outlets (a work in progress?). The staff was nice and the continental breakfast excellent. I don't think it was a great value for the money since the room was tiny - about 8.5' X 9.5' - with a 60" TV on the wall that didn't work. The air conditioner was in the window and really noisy when the rain hit the outside housing of it.

Shared bath not so bad!
Very nice and comfortable. I did not realize we had booked a room with a shared bathroom, but it turned out fine. There were several bathrooms available and they were very nice also they provided very comfy robes for trips to the bathroom. The hotel was conveniently located near gas town and China town.

Good Location for Cruise Crowd
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel overall. We only stayed very briefly (cruise was the main event). It definitely had a Victorian-hipsterish vibe going. They had breakfast available: baked goods, waffles, cereal, and fruit. It was a location option for several tours, very close to port, and was near several convenience stores, restaurants, and points of interest. From the airport, you can just take the train to Waterfront Station. It's a short, but mostly uphill, walk (less than 10 minutes). The WiFi was solid. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will say that the HVAC could do with an upgrade at some point, maybe ductless minisplit to minimize tearing up things. I only used the HVAC briefly to adjust the temp; it was too loud for me to leave it on while sleeping. I recommend ear plugs for those who need the aircon for sleeping. **Please note that this is appears to be a retro-fitted building. It's not great for those with physical impairments to the leg. There are stairs at the entry with no ramp option. If you're on the first floor - great; otherwise, you need to do more stairs. They do offer assistance with luggage, but those physically unable to climb stairs should go elsewhere. I advise against bringing a car. We didn't have one, but there isn't much parking. They do have an alternative option in a nearby parking garage...still. If you don't absolutely need a vehicle, ditch it.

We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom and it was tiny. The staff were lovely and responsive and the hotel was clean. The only downside was a tiny room with no real chair- so difficult to relax except lay in bed. No community lounge or anything to relax in. The location is great/ easy walking to so many attractions.
