Club Quarters Hotel, Central Loop, Chicago
Just perfect for single travelers
Yes, these rooms are a little small, but as a single traveler, I found them to be the perfect size. The room was organized and efficiently detailed. The service was impeccable and the location was perfect for why I was in Chicago - it was a quick walking distance from all of downtown.

Great Location; Room Needed Update
Location is perfect, but room was small and worn. A friend stayed at the same time, and had a larger, updated room, which was nicer.

Amazing Location, Decent Hotel
I read many negative reviews about this hotel, but I had a fine experience, especially for the price. It is obvious that the building is older, but they are keeping up with competitors by incorporating check-in/out kiosks in the lobby, by having a pretty cool app where you can use your phone as your room key (though I couldn’t get this feature to work, maybe because I booked with and not with the hotel directly), and by having two flat screen TVs in the room with Bluetooth and AirPlay capabilities (though that didn’t work for me either). There were other neat amenities, like free water bottle stations in the halls on each floor, and free snacks and drinks in the lounge. I paid less than $120 for a Friday night thanks to For the location, it was a heck of a deal. I wouldn’t pay much more than this though, due to the fact our window view was nothing to write home about (and the window itself was very dirty), the technical features that did not work, and the general “old” feeling of the room itself (musty smelling sheets and blankets, nothing particularly dirty about the room but it didn’t feel super clean, old and worn towels, a weird, very faint odor occasionally). The stay was good overall, though, nothing problematic by any means, and the staff was great. A little renovation of the guest rooms would go a long way. It’s likely most people leaving bad reviews paid more than me and were unhappy with the quality. For $130 or less, I think it’s worth it.
