Dissatisfied
We requested a mountain view because the desk clerk said it would be more quiet. We were put on the city view side. Upon arrival to our room there was a note on the door saying the water heater and room heater would be out of service from 9am-5pm. This was not mentioned at check in. We were hoping to sleep in since check out wasn't until 11am, but had to wake up by 8:30 so we could have time to shower. The room was quite small and not much space to move around. There were also lots of typical city noises as well as emergency flashing lights from 2-3 am that was concerning. After my shower I was drying off and there were several long black hairs on the towel which I realized was dirty and left over from the guest before. I found several of the same hairs around the toilet on the floor/ shower area. The garden was closed so we didn't get to check that out. Our credit card was charged twice in addition to the standard room deposit. The only thing that was good about this place was the breakfast. A lovely quiche with breakfast potatoes was offered in addition to typical toasted goods, fruits, yogurt, and hot/cold cereals.

Jewel, just a bit tarnished
Ashland Springs Hotel is right in downtown Ashland and is a beautiful boutique hotel. Unfortunately during our stay there we’re done issues due to remodeling and repair and Larks restaurant was closed during our 4 night stay. Even with the issues, I would highly recommend this hotel.

I always stay in this hotel awesome location beautiful decor. This time they upgraded me but the shower had a little problem. The TV channels didn’t work. But staff is very acomodating and do whatever to make you feel comfortable. I will stay there again and again despite of these minor things.

Charm and comfort
Lovely Belle Epoch lobby and styling. Supportive staff. WE loved being able to stay with our dog. The room was classically small but comfortable. WE had to put two side chairs in the closet to make space. It is right on main street, a lovely location. This is where we stay passing through Ashland.
