20 minute walk to Marienplatz. Grocery store too!
Small grocery store adjacent to property. 18 minutes walk to u Hahn metro station. Washers and dryers with detergent provided. Kitchenette with bar sized fridge, cook top and microwave. Air conditioning was sub par at the entire hotel by American standards. Room was very warm during hot mid-summer days; this was an issue at the entire hotel...not just our room. It made it hard for us to sleep at night. If you can get used to this, the hotel was overall adequate. I would say it was more of a 3.5 star property instead of 4 stars to a seasoned traveler. The rooms were a bit dated. The shower was difficult to maneuver since it was a hand held operation instead of a stationary shower head and no matter how we tried, we couldn’t keep the water from pooling outside of the tub. We stayed for a week and this issue arose every time each of us showered.

Fine
Nice neighborhood boutique style hotel with worn character. The front desk staff are 5 Star! They helped me with every issue concerning directions, transportation, room change, and answered all my questions with professional friendliness, I will miss them

Ideal Hotel For Oktoberfest
This place was in an excellent location for attending Oktoberfest, our main reason for going to Munich this time. The room was very comfortable, fairly quiet (our room was close but off the main street) and the free breakfast was extensive. The location was about a 10-15 minute walk to Oktoberfest and there was nearby restaurants and grocery stores for food and necessities. I definitely would stay here again when attending Oktoberfest again.
