Derag Livinghotel Prinzessin Elisabeth, Munich
Ideal Hotel For Oktoberfest
This place was in an excellent location for attending Oktoberfest, our main reason for going to Munich this time. The room was very comfortable, fairly quiet (our room was close but off the main street) and the free breakfast was extensive. The location was about a 10-15 minute walk to Oktoberfest and there was nearby restaurants and grocery stores for food and necessities. I definitely would stay here again when attending Oktoberfest again.

Very Good8.0
Nice hotel, great location, fantastic staff
This was our second or third stay at this hotel, and it was our third very good experience. The rooms are comfortable, the hotel is attractive and clean, breakfast is good, the location is very convenient to all the things we wanted to see (20 minute walk to the U Bahn and 20 minute walk to the Wiesn for Oktoberfest.) But perhaps the best thing about this hotel is the outstanding, friendly and helpful staff, especially at the front desk. They always go out of their way to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommended.

Rude personnel
Horrible intro into München. Rude and inconsiderate front desk man. He couldn't get my CC to swipe so he told me I didn't have any money! No hello, no thanks, no appreciation whatsoever.

okay stay
hotel seemed a good distance from oktoberfest but once there, it was pretty far from it. it is a great hotel but not to stay during oktoberfest. Breakfast was decent. A/C, heater and wifi worked great. I did NOT like the piece in the shower which is supposed to keep water from going to the floor, was short and water would still go all over the floor

Free water and beer in minibar are a nice touch. Room and bathroom are spacious. That's the little positive I can say about this hotel.
