We loved the resort. It was beautiful and perfect for what we needed. We only stayed one night, but wish we would have been there longer.

Sadly, a tired hotel - but fine if for basic stay
This one is tough because I feel bad... I'm sure that this hotel has seen better days and is likely struggling to stay afloat. If you are looking for an affordable accommodation with a nice pool and great breakfast, this is perfect. The buildings however are dated, the 'gym' consists of one lower-level small room and a closet -- with horribly outdated and torn equipment. Many of the auxiliary buildings seem to be vacant and unused.

Great setting, but room looks and feels old.
This is a great restaurant with a hotel that could be spectacular but is now old and in need of refurbishing. Rooms should be updated and painted, otherwise they are comfortable and big. Luckily bed is comfortable. Internet was not good.

Quiet hotel, a bit isolated, but restful
Good things: Spacious, clean room with patio and stunning woodwork. Location near the bird zoo was great for exploring by walking from the hotel, and there were a couple restaurants within walking distance. Pool area easily accessible for gatherings of hotel guests. Upon arrival, the pool was wonderfully clean and great for morning swim. Breakfast was good in that eggs were individually prepared with good, friendly service. Golf cart transport for persons or luggage was readily available. However, they did something to the pool that turned the water green, so we could not swim, which was disappointing. Service was marginal as the reception staff seemed overwhelmed with influx of patrons (large wedding party), and were not conversationally bilingual. Assisting with plans for transportation or tours was not part of their service, and it was hard to get their attention to ask questions. Also there was rarely a bartender in the bar, or someone to ask, for something to drink. This is a quiet hotel, out of the way of activities (except for the zoo), but was great for our group for pre-wedding gatherings/partying. They seemed to be understaffed.
