Nice clean family run hotel. I’ll be back.

Should of stayed at Twin Arrows with my friends
Unfortunately I had pre-paid for the hotel which it was more a motel. When I used map quest for directions the name of the hotel came up as Magnuson instead of star tri hotel. Didn’t know if we were at the right place until I checked in. After a long day at the Grand Canyon all we wanted was a nice shower but we didn’t even take shower, they had half used shampoo bottles and the towels looked like they dropped them on the floor and which the towels had small crumbs leaves. My kids didn’t want to stay between the bathroom and the room having a musty smell. unfortunately I paid $168.00 bucks which was non-refundable so we made the best of it.

Too ramshackle for the price
Much too expensive for what it was. 60 per night would have been okay, but we paid 187 per night. Could hear noise from neighboring rooms, and trains outside. Several fixtures (shower curtain, door lock) were coming off the wall. Moldy-looking stain on bathroom ceiling. Heater so noisy that we had to turn it off to sleep, then it got so cold in the room that we could not sleep. After complaining, front desk person said she could have given us a discount if we had not booked through

Road Trip to Williams
Great location for historic Williams, however room was very small, and no ice. Nice bed and ample parking!

Great value for the price paid!
While traveling, we tend to skimp on the hotel, to free up more of our budget for dining and attractions. Because of this, we're very familiar with what you get in this price range. Once we checked in, we realized that price should have been about 50% higher. The room was small but had been recently renovated. The mattress was good, nothing amazing, but not the thin pile of springs that most budget hotels offer. Everything was very clean, and there was none of the odor that we have grown to expect. Walking distance to all of the little tourist shops, bars, and even grocery. It'll definitely be on our list for our next visit.
