Hotel V Nesplein, Amsterdam
Quiet location with superb service
A wonderful stay at a hotel that is perfectly situated in central Amsterdam. It is walking distance to trams and close enough to central train station that taking a taxi is not necessary. The hotel itself is in a quiet street with large rooms that includes a shower and separate tubs. The restaurant is superb. Both in quality and service. The front desk staff are friendly and met all our requests with genuine care.

A real find!
Great hotel, with an excellent restaurant on a quiet lane in the middle of everything. Make sure you include breakfast with your room...a super bargain...and delicious.

Very Good8.0
Great location!
Right off Dam Square and around the corner from a variety casual food places and the new metro line. Helpful staff. King size bed was extremely comfortable and had modern bathroom with rain head shower. Lots of hot water and pressure. We changed our reservation to this hotel because it had A/C and the weather was forecast in the 90 deg F range. The room was expensive but worth having a working A/C. As with other reviews, the room needed more lights and furnishings were industrial. Open shelves and exposed clothes bar. Tiny counter space. If you get a room facing the street, don't expect any privacy unless you keep the curtains closed (hence the dark room). There is an office building across the narrow street with all glass walls. We could read their computer monitors!
