Location is excellent. Tram is across the street. Hotel also sells tickets for the tram/bus. Buffet breakfast is something that can be improved on. They serve the same food everyday with variations only to the pastries. Staff is very professional, polite and helpful. Room is clean.

Great location , near to tram to the center of the city. Great breakfast included. Only complain was there's no AC. Europe has gone through a terrible summer and no AC is a killer!! Other wise, you get what you get pay for.

Good 6.0
It’s easy to get to the center as the tram stops in front of the hotel . The breakfast is good to start your day the only thing is less is they doesn’t have a small fridge in the room nor does they have ac and my worse problem is they only change bed sheets when you arrive or leave the hotel so on 12 days we slept with the same sheets on the bed

3* hotel so don't except nothing fancy. Breakfast was very good. Room was clean. Bed wasn't very comfortable and it was quite hot in the room. Good location with restaurants and supermarkets nearby but a bit far from the center. Good value for money.

Great Place But No Air Con in Prague Summer Heat!
We didn't actually end up staying at the Hotel Kavalir due to the fact that it was closed(due to Covid-19) so we was kindly allocated a new hotel from them which was part of their chain called the Hotel Belvedere so unfortunately I cannot give a full review on the Kavalir but as they are apart of the same group I will imagine that the hotel is the same in terms of its running despite the fact the hotel belvedere is a 4-star hotel so the standards may be slightly higher. I found the belvedere to be a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff who spoke English perfectly, the bedrooms were clean the hotel was well looked after and the the facilities were of a good quality and well maintained too. My only gripe however was the lack of air conditioning in the room, during our visit Prague hit temperatures of around 36 Degrees Celsius and was very humid at night making it very, very difficult to sleep. We ended up having to buy our own fan for around 400 Czech koruna (£13) which had to come out of our spending money budget which was a little bit inconvenient. As the Kavalir is a 3 star against the 4 star Belvedere Hotel I'm going to assume that there is a lack of air conditioning in their rooms too, so if this is the case I would definitely recommend having something in place ready, especially if you're visiting in the summertime because sleeping can be an impossibility without good air conditioning during these times.
