Very Dissapointed..................
Got off to a real bad start as the bellman escorted us to our room, the key issued to us by the Front Desk did not work. Shortly after we entered the rom and my fiancé began to put our clothes in the closet, the large wooden closet door almost fell on her. Maintenance came to the room and removed the door. The garbage can in the bathroom had a top so when you would step on the handle at the bottom, it would open. When I stepped on the broke. As we were ready to go to dinner, I tried to retrieve my money from the in-rom safe and it would not open. It took approximately 30 minutes and three calls to the Front Desk before someone came to our room. On another occasion I called the Front Desk for ice, and was told it would be right up. Thirty minutes later I called the Front Desk inquiring about our ice, and the Front Desk lady apologized and said she had forgot. Our beds were so small and my fiance and I had to sleep in separate beds the first night. I went to the Front Desk and complained about the issues that we encountered in our first 24 hours and the Front Desk Supervisor (Carol??) apologized and offered us a larger room with a jaccuzzi for an additional $65 dollars a night. Finally, when my fiancé complained (she is Peruvian), that placed our two small beds together and it was more comfortable. In the end, I finally had a chance to speak with the Front Desk Manager (Elizabeth) and she was very nice (one of the few who seemed to care) .

NM Lima, always good while in business
It's not my first stay at the NM Lima. Always good. The only thing I felt, was that the service during breakfast was poor. The waiters were not at their best. Other than that that service at check in and check out always great, dinner at the restaurant was very nice as well, I asked for something special, not on the menu, and they were more than happy to help me.

Good hotel but rooms need character
Have stayed here about three times. Like the location, breakfast is good and lobby seating area is modern with large windows. The room, however, is a bit boring. Nothing in the wall except a tv. These are large rooms so the large, empty walls give the rooms a depressing character.

Two week stay, very pleased overall.
Chose hotel because walkable distance to my working location. Pleased with all aspects - cleanliness, usa electric plugs (mostly), breakfast selection and quality, service and more. Only downside was for a two week stay, no dresser so lived out of suitcase and a few shelves.
