Terrible experience
I checked in Friday. Saturday morning, I told them the toilet seat was loose and could hurt someone. When I came back very late Saturday, they had not fixed it. They didn’t even clean my room that day. The bathroom and the beddings and the trash can were all not taken care of. It was too late in the evening for me to complain. So I never said anything even when I checked out on Sunday.

Considering we had just come from a wedding at a la-de-da resort that 1) did not have our room ready, 2) room they finally gave us had not even soap, 3) had to look for the toilet paper, etc. Microtel was not at all fancy, but it was practical, provided what was needed. Its towels were not as big and fluffy as the resort's but we had more than enuf which cannot be said for the other place, and the mattresses were more comfortable.

This property had bed bug problems. Even after I reported wasn't provided another room due to unavailability. Luckily had 2 Queen beds so survived on another bed. Could sleep only 2-3hrs. The front desk was not ready to accept even though had showed video of bugs. Also, very noisy property people walking, probably partying and room doors opening closing constantly, very thin walls.
