## Space

A real highlight of the property is the unique outdoor area which lends a rustic feel to the whole property and creates a unique sense of vacations.

The living area combines tasteful interior decor with lovely finishing touches to create a relaxing place to stay. Take the weight off your feet, chill out on the sofa and make yourself at home! The sofa even converts into a double sofa bed to accommodate extra guests. In the kitchen, you’ll find all the modern appliances you need to cook a delicious meal that you can serve to friends or family sat around the dining table.

Three of the bedrooms have a super comfortable double bed with fresh hotel-quality linens. There’s also ample storage and wardrobe space so you can fully unpack and settle in. Black-out blinds keep the room dark so you can always get a good night’s rest and wake up refreshed.

The sofa bed bedroom, meanwhile, boasts a double size sofa bed, also fitted with superior-standard linens to ensure you enjoy a great night’s sleep.

You can freshen up in the well-appointed bathrooms where you can either enjoy a relaxing soak in the tub or wake up in the morning to an energising shower. Towels and toiletries are provided.

The property will be professionally cleaned before your stay.

## Neighborhood

Located to the south of the centre of Lisbon, over the mouth of the River Tagus and looking westwards out towards the Atlantic Ocean, Caparica is a traditional Portuguese seaside neighbourhood, with an abundance of seafood restaurants and street fish stalls, as well as cafes and bars for the influx of Portuguese tourists who head to the area in the summer months to escape the city center.

For a dose of culture and history, you can admire the 16th-Century Capuchin monastery that sits imposingly on the high cliffs over the seaside.

There is a characteristic charm to the traditional feel of Caparica, where colourful small fishing boats still dot the shoreline and the old-fashioned industry still works alongside the more modern tourist boom.

## Transit

The house is super close to the A33 road which means you can get there from the airport in a 22min drive. Car, Uber, Cabify or any other company will be suitable for getting around in this area.

## Notes

- The flat capacity is for 10 people. No additional guests allowed.
- Most homes in Portugal don’t have central heating, but heaters and fans will be provided.
- It is fairly common in Portugal for the electricity to trip if more than 2 high wattage electrical appliances are being used at the same time. Please keep this in mind when using appliances like heaters, washing machines, hairdryers, kettles, toasters, fans, etc. Guests will be charged €40 in case of electricity trips due to overuse.
- If guests lock themselves out of the property OR they do not place keys in the lockbox at checkout, a 50€ fee will apply. If a guest loses a set of keys during their stay, an 80€ fee will apply.
- There will be a €25 fee for check-ins before 8 am and after 10 pm.
- Please note the water heater has limited capacity. Once the hot water runs out, it will take some time for the water to warm up.
- The sofa bed fits 2 people.
- Please be eco-friendly and turn off all the lights and electrical appliances (such as heaters and fans) when you leave the apartment.
- City tax and ID: Government mandated city tax of €2 per person per day (except children under 12 years), will be charged to you at check-in and your Govt ID will be collected at check-in for submission to the authorities as required by local laws. Please note city tax is only applicable for a maximum of 7 days continuously, we do not accept cash.
