Beware!
Google maps misplaced the location of this hotel. The hotel icon was showing central Dublin, close to the Guinness Storehouse. The reality is that it's located at 30 minutes ride from Heuston train station. The hotel is nice and clean, and the staff was really helpful. However, after your 30 minute tram ride, you have to walk with your luggage for another 10 minutes, uphill, throughout a unfriendly pedestrian zone (mostly industrial).

Great Rate, Remodeled Room and Pet Friendly
Booked due to their great rate and that they are pet friendly. Room was recently remodelled and very nice. Super convenient off the R110 and M50. They charge for pets went up from €5 to €15 per dog.

Great hotel!
I'm a frequent flyer of the Ibis hotels, and have used this one a couple of times--for the money you pay, I firmly believe Ibis are the best hotels in the world at what they do, and this hotel is better every time i stay here--the staff are so friendly, the food is excellent, the location is brilliant(5 min walk to Luas tram into the city), safe free parking is a major plus, and the price continues to be a great deal!--the room is basic but you get everything you could want-quiet room, comfortable bed, tv, shower, tea/coffee etc...Idiots pay big money for a room with a view, but smart people use IBIS and use the money saved for something else! Well done Ibis staff at Red cow for again, making it another great stay!

Again?...no
The room looked okay, but it stunk of smoke the whole entire time of our stay. Which is ironic considering the numerous sigs saying smoking is prohibited. The sheets had spots on them, and looked dirty. Also, the towels had long, black hair on them...
