Great hotel - ok location.
The hotel itself is great! There isn’t much in the area, but it is a 20 minute bus ride away from the center of Dublin. Instructions for the busses could be more clear, but that’s the city of Dublin’s problem, not ibis.

Good compromise
Overall good stay. Takes a while to get to center but worth the difference in cost. Bus 13 is direct and takes about 30'. Nice quality room with little frills. Good Wi-Fi.

Good Value for the Price
Good value for the money. Better than a hostel, decent breakfast option, beds are hard and they only give you one pillow per bed but when you've been awake for 24 hours straight, anything is good. Clean linens and nice tiled bathrooms with plenty of hot water. Free parking is nice and all the workers are very helpful and welcoming. Outside city center but a short walk to Luas will take you pretty far in.

Will come back again
Comfortable room and bed. Free parking. Few minutes drive to local village.

Bring your own alarm clock...
I regularly use this hotel as a convenient and economical overnight before a long distance flight the next day. The hotel is perfectly suited for this purpose. Rooms are comfortable, clean, quiet, and a great shower. There is one recurring problem and that is the early morning call. On 2 occasions this one included I got no call. When I complained on leaving I was told by reception that the system was broken - an excuse I found totally inadequate and spoke my mind accordingly. I will use the hotel again because of its close location to a direct airport bus service, which is extremely convenient. Such a pity about the early morning call and the silly excuse which was obviously untrue. This hotel is for overnight stays there is nothing whatever to see in the surrounding area. It is far from the city but if you have time there is a good tram service to take you to the city center.
