Friendly staff, very clean.
The property was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Not as centrally located as previous reviews had indicated, and was a fair walk to reach the central tourist area, but it was doable and the hotel is a great value. The atrium between the hotel and the next building can carry a fair amount of noise from the adjacent building…dogs barking and loud voices at night. The noise wasn’t constant, but it did wake us in the early hours overnight one night. Definitely not a dealbreaker though. US dollars are widely accepted but if you need to exchange your money do it at the hotel, it was the best rate we found. Also, download an interactive city map that doesn’t need Wi-Fi to your phone before you go. The APP store doesn’t work once you arrive, even on Wi-Fi and paper maps are almost impossible to find.

Amazing 2nd stay at Alhabana
This is my 2nd time I'm staying at Alhabana hotel and I'm very pleased with my choice to get back here. The rooms are lovely and clean well maintenance. The staff are super friendly and helpful to get around in the area The breakfast is really good and sufficient. I highly recommend it.

Perfect place
My friend and I LOVED Cuba and a lot of it was thanks to our stay. The room was clean, air conditioner worked extremely well and the staff were lovely. They helped us with all of our questions and were fun to get to know. They made Cuba feel like home! We will definitely be coming back here.

A haven in Havana
Alhabana was the perfect base for our week in Havana. Easy walking distance into Old Havana, the waterfront, and restaurants. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The accommodations are comfortable, spotlessly clean, and overall very peaceful.
