Our room was so big and nice. Looked really clean. Only thing the lighting in bathroom was dim, the lighting around the mirror wasn’t working. The coffee out in the lobby was awesome loved those machines. Also the warm cinnamon rolls at breakfast very nice haven’t stayed anywhere that had that.

Had a very big spacious room. Staff at check in was nice. Parking lot well lite. Would highly recommend more lighting the bathroom, and over the refrigerator it is dark, the light when you come in door could also be brighter or have a small light over mirror in that area. Outside of the lighting the room was exceptional.

We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bardstown. The staff were very welcoming and a pleasure to talk to during our weekend stay. We got lots of information about the history of the area and things to do & see. We were very appreciative of all the information. The room was very clean with a comfortable king size bed. We slept well because of the bed and the quiet room. It was also very nice to have a small microwave and a little fridge in the room. We enjoyed the large selection of hot and cold breakfast foods both mornings we were there. The food was very good and never allowed to run out, so it was always fresh. The coffee was also very good. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose this hotel again when we go back to Bardstown. We highly recommend staying here.

To start the staff was very unfriendly and told us that Expedia had over booked the rooms and they were not sure they had a room for us. We booked in November 2025. They did finally find us a room after I asked if I should leave to try and find a room to which they said I could if I wanted but fearing I would lose my money which I had fully paid I chose to stay. We were also told the pool was not available which was part of why we chose this hotel and they said Expedia should have advised us. There was also around 12 mini refrigerators in and out of boxes in the lobby which I found alarming. The morning breakfast was the highlight of the stay . There was only one ice maker located on the fourth floor for the entire hotel.
