Extremely displeased with quality of room
We had a power outage in our city and had to get a room for the evening. This was the only hotel left with vacancy in our area so we booked a room with 2 queen beds online and paid in advance. Upon arrival, we were told our room was no longer available so he "upgraded" our room to a King suite. Well, I can only say it was less than desirable on EVERY level and it truly felt unsafe to be in that room. I didn't sleep at all and left as early as the sun came up to go home to take a cold shower in the dark! The floor was caving in, microwave was disgustingly dirty, there were numerous hairs in the bed sheets AND a black spot that I could not say for sure what it was; mulitple nasty stains on the bedskirt, curtains and walls; the bathroom was full of mildew and and stains, and the ceiling was crumbling off in the bathroom, as well; fire alarm cover was hanging off the ceiling; A/C didn't cool efficiently despite being on the lowest setting and the "suite" (which was a pull out loveseat in the front closest to the door), didn't have a vent at all, so it stayed at least 10-15 degrees warmer than the rest of the room. I took A LOT of pictures to show what I experienced, but feel it would cause such a terrible reaction to anyone else considering this hotel, I will wait to post them in order to give management an opportunity to respond and send maintenance to repair all the issues mentioned, in hopes of not having to share all the pictures. I'll post one to validate my review.
