Layover stay on a long drive.
one night layover stay from OR to CA with pets. Budget run down motel ok for a night's rest and shower. Bring Your own pillows, lights, soap and towel though.

Not a bad room for the price point.

Gross
This place was gross. We had been staying in very inexpensive hotels for the past few days during a very long road trip. I know that $50 dollars is not buying me a stay at the Ritz, but this place was gross. The shower was disgusting and the carpet smelled. We had stayed at hotels under $60 for the past three nights driving from Seattle to California and this one made me wish I spent a bit more and stayed somewhere else.

Run down
Room was run down. Paint cracking. Shower faucet falling off. Moths under bedding. Sheets not tucked in all the way. Front desk staff was nice.

Frequent traveler
We usually stay at "thin sheets motels" and this definitely was one. Least expensive, no frills, not affiliated, not a chain, and definitely not for picky people. The Classic Inn in Red Bluff provided a bed with clean sheets, a floor that had been vacuumed, a bathroom not pristine enough for dining but just fine for a hot refreshing shower and doing bathroom things. Would not stay at this location for any other reason than to take an eat and sleep break during an adult road trip or individual business trip. There is no pool or play area for children, nor is the neighborhood one in which I would permit my children to be outdoors unattended.
