About Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel, Paris

Sleek, modern hotel close to the Eiffel Tower

Tower power
Step outside the hip, recently renovated Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel in Paris's 15th arrondissement, and you'll be a 5-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. The neatly manicured Parc du Champ-de-Mars is a 10-minute walk.

Cross the Seine
For a fantastic Tower photo, walk 8 minutes west to Pont d'Iéna and cross the Seine to Trocadéro on the Right Bank. The photos from here are the ones you see on the postcard stands. A 15-minute walk east will put you at Les Invalides, final resting place of Napoleon.

405 freshly updated rooms
Freshly renovated, the 405-room hotel features 2 restaurants and a bar – all with Eiffel Tower views. You can even spot the Tower from the 24-hour fitness center. Breakfast is offered in the café or bar.

Art of design
Trendy, bang-up-to-date rooms feature either Eiffel Tower rooms or Eiffel motifs in their chic purple-silver decor. You'll have all the modern comforts you need, from LCD TVs with cable and free WiFi to mini-fridges.

Great Paris trip but funky hotel room
This hotel is in an amazing location! This was our first time to Paris and we loved how close it was to the Eiffle Tower and to surrounding metro/rer stops. The staff was very friendly & offered advice/directions/even a discount on the (overpriced) bottles of water in the lobby. The Ribe Cafe is in walking distance from the hotel and the food there is great! Now, for my negative commentary: I will say that the air circulation in the room was HORRIBLE. It was hot in the room no matter what degree the thermostat was set to - even when we turned it off. It kept us up at night sweating and there’s no ceiling fan or fan at all to try to cool the room (and us) down. By day 3 we were convinced the thermostat was just there as a joke/pawn and that the hotel maintained the air temperature. Either way - pack your bikini for the room or prepare to sleep nude because that was pretty awful. Also, I think the hotel staff cleans with vinegar. When we checked into our hotel room I noticed a vinegar smell - especially in the bathrooms. It faded during the day but when our room was serviced the next day the vinegar smell was back. So between the hot room and the vinegar smell I unfortunately have to stay that I’ve definitely stayed in better hotels.

Great Eiffel location
Can’t get a better location near the Eiffel Tower... very helpful staff.. don’t expect many in room amenities.. but overall very good! We stayed during the’ yellow vest’ demos, but were unaffected by the disruption.

We went to Paris for our anniversary, my first time in Paris and second time for my wife. We booked the hotel through which we found it helpful and easy to use. What surprises us most is what a fantastic choice it has given us. Mercure Tour Eiffel (This is the one on Rur Jean Rey) is so convenient, literally with Eiffel Tower on the next street. The hotel also has upgraded us to Privilege 12th floor with bath robes and slippers besides a refrigerator full of soft drinks and water. Besides near Eiffel Tower, it is near the Hop on and Off Bus station and walking distance to the Metro stations of C, 6 and 8 lines besides buses 82 and 87. You can also walk for 10 minutes to take the Batobus and have a boat ride along the River Seine. So romantic! Nice restaurants are everywhere, especially on Rue de Sefferin. Try the duck’s leg, onion soup and escargot! Simply yummilicious!!! The hotel people are so friendly and accommodating. The room is spacious and clean with the toilet separated from the bathroom. The only complaint I have is the shower floor. It’s slippery and several inches above the floor. Several times I almost have slipped. Otherwise I have nothing but praises for the hotel. By the way, the fitness room faces the Eiffel Tower directly. Beautiful view!

Good stay overall. The room was very nice but the service was a bit random. Sometimes one coffee pod, sometimes two, but then decaff only. Same with the breakfast service. Sometimes no vegetables and no plates. The bar was excellent with great service and very reasonably priced. The "smart" elevators weren't always so smart, and that can be irritating when you are staying on the tenth floor. Otherwise it is situated in a great location and has a metro stop close by.
