The perfect hotel and location!
The service, accommodations, and location were perfect! The room and bathroom were small when compared to US hotels, but you need to accept that in most European hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel especially since the beds were so comfortable, and the lounge areas were within the "London tradition." The location was perfect - a short walk to South Kensington station (the tube) which allows access to all locations in London and beyond.

Bigger or prettier
Local area is really nice. Staff were kind & helpful in general. Lobby & restaurant is nicely decorated. But a room we stayed was so small. I was keep bumping into my husband every time I try to move. And decor of the room was rather plain compare to other areas of hotel. Maybe I got worse room in that hotel... I'm not sure but would not stay again, if I'm paying same amount again for same room. A room has to be bigger or decorated better for me to go back again.

Great hotel--warning the 'superior' rooms small
The room was terribly small -- not even a desk -- and there was no place to put my luggage. The common spaces in the hotel are outstanding and the staff was excellent overall. I would definitely stay here again, but get a larger room.
