The Kensington Hotel, London

We had an amazing stay at the Kensington Hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well decorated. The location is very convenient for those interested in the museums and parks. Everyone was incredibly helpful and nice. The closest subway station is about 8 minutes walk from the hotel. Please note this is an American reviewer :) one comment to note is that the rooms are small. I booked a Classic Room. Not a big deal but something to keep in mind when picking the type of room you want to stay in.

Very warm, welcoming staff, personalized service, went the extra mile to ensure I was satisfied. The best service I’ve ever had at a hotel. As a solo woman traveler I felt completely comfortable and taken care of. The location is perfect - near restaurants, pubs, the underground. Hyde Park is in walking distance as are s number of great museums. The hotel is elegant and serene. My room was well-appointed but very small. If large rooms are what you want, make sure to request one of the larger ones.

Beautiful area, reasonably priced, wonderful staff & comfortable room.

Offered a juice on arrival and a water at checkout. I didn't have to ask to store luggage upon checkout - they offered. Top notch service. Rooms are on the smaller side but this is more than made up for by quality.

The staff and their service is exceptional. From the concierge, to the bellmen, to the front desk, and operator. They are helpful, responsive, and friendly. The room was plenty big. While the bathroom was small, it was doable. Hairdryer in the room. Nespresso maker. Daily bottles of water which were greatly appreciated. My only complaint is that housekeeping forgot wash cloths for our room two days in a row.
